To protect our customers and team we have reduced store opening hours and also introduced by appointment only days for customers who would prefer less contact with other customers.

We have introduced multiple safety measures and procedures within the store to protect our team and customers:

1 – All customers must wear a face mask or cover at all times when in our store.

2 – We ask all customers to use the hand sanitiser station upon entry.

3 – We are following government guidance on social distancing and we ask all customers to do the same keeping at least 2 meters away from other customers and our team. 

All of our team have been trained to follow strict health and safety measures and our store will be disinfected daily with busy touch areas cleaned with antibacterial wipes throughout the day.

We have introduced a virtual shopping experience for customers who are unable to visit our Manchester showroom.

Using Zoom video you can now chat with one of our sales team to discuss specific items for your home or an interior design project you are working on.  Our sales team members can show you options from our display and back catalog as well as inform you of sizes, finishes and discuss availability with you.

To ensure the safety of our customers & delivery team we have put together a new delivery procedure which will help to reduce the further spread of Covid19.

Booking In Your Delivery:

  • If anyone within the premises is currently ill, becomes ill before delivery, or is self-isolating following government guidelines please inform us and we will reschedule your delivery.
  • Any outstanding balance on the order must be paid before delivery. Payments can be made via bank transfer or card payments made over the phone.

Delivery Day:

  • Our delivery team will call or text to confirm they are on the way up to an hour before they arrive.
  • When possible we will do a 1 man doorstep delivery.
  • For items that require more than 1 person to deliver safely, 2 vans will meet at your premises with one driver in each. You will be asked to indicate the room where you would like the item(s) placing. You will be asked to vacate the room and route to the room while the delivery is being undertaken.
  • You will be asked to inspect the condition of the item(s) and sign a delivery note. Once signed please leave the delivery note on your doorstep for our delivery team to collect.

Personal Protection & Hygiene:

  • Our delivery team has access to fresh sets of personal protection equipment for each delivery they attend and have been trained to follow strict health & safety guidelines.
  • Following government guidelines, we advise customers to wear face masks if they will be near the delivery team.
  • Delivery vehicles are regularly cleaned with disinfectant and high-touch areas are wiped down with antibacterial wipes between deliveries.

Long-Distance Deliveries:

  • For long-distance deliveries, we are using a white glove delivery service which is also following strict health and safety procedures similar to our own.

Our thoughts go out to all those impacted globally by the Coronavirus. We have been monitoring the situation closely over the past couple of days and we have, with a heavy heart, decided to temporarily close our doors.

The wellbeing of our customers and team is of the utmost importance to us and we cannot in good conscience continue to put them at risk.

Like many others, in our 66-year history we have never faced a situation like this before. We look to the future with optimism but recognise that we do not know what it holds. In times like this, we need to stand together, support each other and think about the impact our actions have on those around us.

As the late Mr & Mrs. Stockton used to say “it’s nice to be important but, more important to be nice”. We feel these words have never had such pertinence and we hope they stay with you during this troubling time.
