How much does delivery cost?

– Free UK delivery on qualifying orders over £2500 excluding parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland*

– £75 delivery on orders under £2500 to the UK excluding parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland*

– £75 delivery on clearance orders to the UK*

– £10 delivery on small accessories to the UK

– £26 delivery on large accessories to the UK

– Special delivery rates apply to large and heavy items, prices start from £225 subject to distance and the item being delivered.

* Additional charges apply to Northern Ireland, Scotland, Scottish Islands & Highlands, please call 0161 494 5482 for an accurate delivery cost. Additional charges also apply to heavy items, these will be marked clearly on the product page and in your basket. *Free delivery over orders with a value of £2000 does not apply to clearance products.

How does delivery work?

Estimated delivery dates

We allow up to 14 days to deliver items that we have in stock including clearance and ex-display items.

For items that are made to order an estimated date will be shown on the product page above the ‘Add To Basket’ button.

*We allow a further 7+ days to complete all deliveries to Scotland. We aim to deliver all orders as soon as possible and your order may not be affected. To enquire about a possible delivery date please contact us.

Arranging delivery

If you have purchased an item that we carry in stock or it is ex-display/clearance we will contact you within a couple of days to arrange a delivery date.

If your item that is made to order, once the item has been shipped to us we will call you to collect the outstanding balance if you have one and book in a delivery date.

*We require all outstanding balances to be paid prior to booking in a delivery date.

Delivery of your order

We deliver 90% of the orders we receive and use our own experienced delivery team, most of whom have been with Stockton’s for years.

Some of our orders are delivered by carefully selected external delivery teams who we have worked with for years and who we trust to give you an excellent service.

Some orders are delivered directly by the supplier and we have no input on the delivery date.

Delivery day

On the delivery day, our delivery team will contact you either by call or text with an estimated time of arrival.

Once the delivery team has arrived they may want to inspect the route to the final destination of your items. They will unbox and assemble your items and remove any packaging from your home.*exclusions apply

If you would prefer your order to remain packaged for any reason just inform the delivery team and they will put the boxes in a position that you are happy with.

You will be asked to inspect and sign for the item(s) delivered and you will be given a delivery receipt for your records.

*No lighting products will be assembled or installed on delivery.

What delivery options are available?

We use our own delivery team for most UK deliveries, this is a premium delivery service that includes installation in the room of your choice and removal of any packaging. Charges are shown below. You can collect furniture from our store or warehouse for free. We’ll contact you when it arrives at our warehouse, just select the ‘arrange own delivery’ option at checkout.

Do you ship Internationally?

We can offer international deliveries through external shippers, who we have worked with for many years.

Delivery charges are calculated by volume, weight and destination.

If you would prefer to arrange your own international delivery we can provide all of the product information you will need.

What time will my order be delivered?

All delivery times approximate. We always give delivery times in good faith but cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect loss due to any reasonable delay or delays due to unforeseen circumstances outside of our control.

What if my order doesn’t fit in
the house, or there is resricted

It is your responsibility to advise us at the time of ordering of any difficulties that may occur on delivery to your property, this includes safe access to the room of your choice, ensuring suitable access is provided. You should add these details to the delivery notes section when completing your order online. Any costs incurred affecting delivery that you haven’t informed us of at checkout, such as door or window removal will not be the responsibility of Stocktons and you will be charged in full for any additional delivery costs.

When will I know when my goods have been dispatched?

You will be contacted once the goods are in stock to arrange a date for delivery. You will receive a second call the day of delivery with an estimated delivery time. usually around one hour before arrival. If a tracking code is available it will be emailed to you.

Do you deliver items separately?

Not usually, we try to deliver all items together once they have arrived at our warehouse. If you’d like to split delivery you can call 0161 273 5331 quoting your order reference and surname. Additional delivery charges may apply.

When can I expect to receive my order?

Estimated lead times are stated for each product above the ‘Add To Basket’ button on each product page.

Can my order be left in a porch or hallway?

No. All deliveries must be signed for.
