Timothy Oulton Echo Mirror
Taking its inspiration from the way sound waves reflect from a surface back to the listener, this striking mirror ‘echoes’ the light to create a dramatic floating halo. Comprised of two independent pieces – a circular backlit mirror orbited by a second mirrored hoop – Echo encompasses the wall colour in between the two mirrors as part of the design. Light travels from the central point behind the frame to illuminate the empty space, and continues behind the frame of the outer ring to create a soft peripheral glow.
